Time flies...

11 years ago today...

I remember waking up in the morning and being all disappointed cause it was raining. Out of all days it had to rain on my wedding day...ugh.

With all the excitement of getting ready and putting on my wedding dress, I quickly forgot the fact that it was raining. Then, coming down the stairs and seeing the biggest grin on Dan's face set the perfect mood for the rest of the day. Dan made me feel like I was the most beautiful woman in the world. (He still does)

When we came out of our civil ceremony it was the perfect fall weather with no more rain. We headed off to a luncheon with our family and getting our pictures taken in a beautiful park.

In the evening we had a huge reception party with tons of great people, amazing food, dance and awesome performances.....we Germans know how to party. :)

We got little sleep that night and headed to the temple early the next morning to be sealed for time and all eternity. It was such a special ceremony and it gave us great comfort, to know we will be together forever.

The next day we flew to Greece and enjoyed a very fun, but also adventurous honeymoon.

Dan is the greatest husband to me. There is not one day where he doesn't make me smile. I love him with all my heart and am looking forward to spend eternity with him.

Although this is a very happy day for us today, we also feel the pain that there is something missing from our little family. We so very much long for children. It is the only real heartache that we have had to deal with these last 11 years.

We know it will happen for us ....hopefully soon!!!!!
